Love the pre-loved: Op Shops

Shopping at Op Shops or other second hand stores, is a great way to save a dollar, participate in community recycling, while supporting a charity at the same time. We have found some great clothes, books and toys at our local charity store  - it's not so much an issue for me now, but perhaps when the whining and whinging ..."mum, can I have this?" starts, making the odd trip to the op shop to choose a 'new, special toy or book' won't hurt my conscience or wallet so much, and will keep us all happy. And of course, when we are spring cleaning, or getting rid of things we've finished playing with, wearing, or reading, we can pack up a bag and drop it off at our local op shop!
